By introducing chess into the curriculum (often done as a mathematics extension) you can get the whole school playing chess while adding a whole new and exciting dimension to a child's school life. Courses are structured according to each school's needs and usually run throughout a term. Certificates are awarded to all children participating and trophies are given out for the top three places in each group. The teacher's are given class summaries detailing each child's performance.
